As a new Michael D. Jennings, DDS patient you can expect the finest dental care and services available. The following will highlight frequently asked questions about our practice:
What to expect at your first exam - Dr. Jennings will perform a review of your health history and a blood pressure check, a thorough examination of your teeth and gum tissues with an oral cancer screening, necessary radiographs, full treatment planning to fit your dental needs, and a tour of our state-of-the-art office.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation - We do offer nitrous oxide, also called laughing gas, for its calming effects. Let us know if you would like to feel more relaxed for your dental appointments. We will review your health history and determine if it's right for you.
Sterilization - For your protection, our office utilizes the most current technology for sterilization. This includes: instruments and handpieces being heat sterilized with an autoclave, monthly testing of all sterilization equipment, the use of a self-contained purified bottled water system, barrier protection for ourselves, our patients and our equipment, and disposable supplies when possible. Our staff is up-to-date on all CDC and OSHA guidelines.
Dental Insurance - Your dental insurance is an agreement between your employer and insurance company to assist in the payment for your dental needs. The balance that your insurance company does not reimburse is your responsibility.
Financial Arrangements - Dental treatment is an excellent investment in your medical health and well-being. Our financial coordinator is trained to assist you in maximizing your dental insurance benefits and establishing a comfortable payment plan. We encourage and appreciate payment at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard and personal checks. We also have "Care Credit", which is a no interest, extended payment plan.
Staff Continuing Education - Our office is dedicated to keeping current with new technology and information associated with health and dentistry. We all are CPR certified and regularly attend educational classes to learn all we can to help our patients.
Appointments - You can make appointments by calling 586-772-7393 during practice hours. We request that a 24-hour notice be given for cancellation, otherwise certain fees may apply. |
